St Vincent's MEMORIAL BRICK GARDEN

MEMORIAL BRICK GARDEN

Since the inception of St. Vincent’s Memorial Brick Garden, over 250 bricks have been placed in memory of friends, family, former pastors, and sisters who taught at our school. This year, we were very blessed that the garden received a much-needed, major facelift through the talented hands of Dr. Susan Stearns. Sue was asked if she could lend a hand by her friend, Parish Secretary, Mary Anne Cicciarelli. Thank you, Sue for your outstanding work! The garden looks so much better, and faded names on older bricks have been restored to their original beauty. We encourage you to visit the garden the next time you’re in the area. Sit and enjoy the peace, serenity and beauty of the flowers surrounding the statue of the Blessed Mother. If you would like to have a brick in memory of a loved one, please send a check for $100 to St. Vincent de Paul Church, 342 Vine Street, Syracuse, NY 13203. Please mark “brick” in the memo and be sure to include the inscription information. You are allowed 3 lines, with 14 characters per line.
