St. Vincent de Paul lmmaculata Award Recipient for 2023: JOHN FITZPATRICK
John Fitzpatrick has been a faithful communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Parish for over 30 years. During that time, he has actively participated in various parish activities. John is an extraordinary Eucharistic minister and an active member of the Finance Committee always paying attention on the best use of parish finance. For many years, John has taken part in distributing donated food to needy organizations. He has been a head usher carrying out these duties at Mass every week as well as a faithful adult server in funerals. At Christmas time, the church has an outreach program to remember shut-in parishioners and those in the nursing homes with a Christmas plant, card and personal visits. John has been in charge of this program, organizing helpers and personally participating in these visits. In our Annual Lenten Fish Fry linked parishes fund raising, John has been a faithful volunteer to deliver meals in homes. We are blessed to have John in our parish as he carries the light of Christ to his sisters and brothers.
