Bob Kawa, one of St. Vincent’s finest, gave the following answers to our Alumni Spotlight questions:
What do you value most from your time at St. Vincent’s?
The education, the discipline and the religious emphasis at the school.
What do you remember most vividly about your time at St. Vincent’s?
The competition within the Parochial League, both in basketball and baseball. In my Junior year, we won the Class B basketball championship and the overall baseball title!
What did you do after leaving St. Vincent’s?
I attended Le Moyne College, taught Accounting there for 36 years and had my own accounting practice. Also, I coached basketball at various schools for 20 years.
Are you still involved with St. Vincent’s?
I am a member of Blessed Sacrament/St. Vincent’s Parish.
