Jail Ministry Annual Movie Night and Envelope Challenge Fundraiser

Jail Ministry is excited to invite you to our Annual Movie Night and Envelope Challenge Fundraiser. 

When: Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at 6 pm

Where:  Park Central Presbyterian Church, 504 East Fayette Street, Syracuse, NY 13202.

This year, we are screening "Loving," a 2016 critically-acclaimed drama that tells the the quiet yet powerful story of Richard and Mildred Loving. The film humanized the legal struggle behind the Supreme Court case Loving v. Virginia (1967), which struck down law banning interracial marriage. "Loving" didn't just retell history; it shaped discussions about race, marriage, and personal freedom, making the Lovings' legacy relevant for new generations. 

While admission is free, please consider participating in Jail Ministry's Envelope Challenge fundraiser. This event is our sole fundraising effort of the year, and we hope you will consider contributing.

Our goal of $11,325 will be achieved once all envelopes are purchased.
