From Paul Welch,

“Let us pray that political leaders be at the service of their own people, working for integral human development and the common good, taking care of those who have lost their jobs and giving priority to the poorest,” he said. Jesus gets specific: “I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” Matthew 25:35
Christ suffering at our southern border:
Your children are hungry. The shelter where your family is staying in Mexico is vastly under-
resourced. The violence you see on the streets here is not so different from what you fled in
Guatemala. Your home was too dangerous to remain in, so moving up north was necessary to ensure the safety of your children. You tried to explain this to an armed man in uniform at a U.S.-Mexico border crossing, but the officer told you to turn around and not return until you have an appointment to request asylum.
