Weekend of November 8–9, 2025

Our parish is proud to participate in this year’s Diocesan-Wide Altar Server Celebration! This special weekend honors all young people who serve faithfully at the Lord’s altar throughout the Diocese of Syracuse.

A recent national study found that over 70% of new priests once served as altar servers in their home parishes. That’s why this celebration—sponsored by the Office of Vocation Promotion and Bishop Douglas J. Lucia—is so important. Supporting our altar servers today helps form the future leaders and vocations of our Church tomorrow.

Each altar server will receive personal recognition from Bishop Lucia, along with a commemorative Altar Server Pin and prayer card featuring St. Carlo Acutis, who reminds us:

“The Eucharist is the highway to heaven.”

If your child serves—or would like to begin serving—at the altar, this is a wonderful opportunity to renew their commitment and celebrate their service to the Church.
